Free flowering best describes the Charles de Meurville` s. unusual blooms. The outer petals are a light pink fading to near white at the tips, while the inner petals are a majestic dark pink to red. The elongated leaves are a dark green and the blooms rest atop a purple stem. Charles de Meurville is well suited for medium to large ponds.

Note the difference in this flower. The rounded petals and the true color on the perfectly formed flower makes this plant striking. A good bloomer with nice emerald green leaves makes Eugene de Land an interesting addition to the collector water garden. As the name would suggest, it to is a Latour Marliac hybrid and one of Mr. Marliac's favorites. Flower size can be up to 7 or 8 inches in diameter, slightly and pleasantly fragrant. Adaptable to medium and large ponds.
